I have used Photostory in the past, and I love its capabilities! It is extremely useful in many settings from the classroom to the office, and even personal use. It is easy to use and understand. Even first time tech users can figure out this program. :)
Picnik is a great photo editing program. I really like this because A) it's free! B) you can access it from any computer and C) it's easy! Unless you are working on a huge project with a big budget, no one has the money for Photoshop (or the time to learn). Picnik becomes an easy solution to those with "budget" problems. The same goes with Photostory. With this application, you can make your presentation look professional in no time and with no budget!
I know that I will continue to use Photostory for future projects. My only vice with it - it is not Mac friendly. :( Since I am mainly a Mac user, I would use iMovie to create the same type of video with the same ease.
For my Photostory, I edited pictures from a trip to Seattle and Vancouver. I used Picnik to edit the photos before I created the Photostory.

I completely agree -- Photostory can easily be integrated into the classroom or in a more traditional job setting. Love your STORY!
